How Superbrick Studio collects, uses and looks after personal information, in line with Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who we are

Superbrick Studio (“Superbrick”, “we”) is a design and technology studio at Level 4, 260 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000. This policy covers superbrick.studio, the forms on it, and the projects we run with clients.

For anything about your information, email .

What we collect

  • Project enquiries. Your name and email address, and anything else you choose to add: where you work, the services you’re interested in and details of your project.
  • The newsletter. Your email address.
  • Booking a call. Bookings are made through Cal.com, which collects the name, email and notes you enter.
  • Emails, calls and projects. What you send us, and the contact details and project information we need to do the work.
  • How the site is used. Pages visited, the site that sent you (such as a search engine or an AI assistant), your device and browser, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and clicks on a few key links, such as booking a call or opening a project. We also record some visits to see how pages are used; what you type into forms is hidden from those recordings.
  • Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

You don’t have to give us your details to read the site. Without an email address, though, we can’t reply to an enquiry or send the newsletter.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call and, if we work together, run the project.
  • To send the newsletter, if you’ve signed up for it.
  • To understand which pages help people and improve the site.
  • To keep the site and its forms secure and free of spam.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the site and the studio, and only what each one needs:

  • Vercel, which hosts the site and runs its forms.
  • Resend, which delivers form submissions to our inbox and holds the newsletter list.
  • PostHog, for analytics and visit recordings.
  • Cal.com, for booking calls.
  • Google Workspace, for our email.
  • For client projects, the tools we work in together, such as Slack, Figma and Webflow.

Several of these services store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with their own privacy and security commitments. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

PostHog uses a cookie and your browser’s local storage to recognise a returning browser, without knowing who you are. The site also uses your browser’s storage to remember whether you’ve turned the sounds off, and to hold the footer’s Brisbane weather for a few minutes. We don’t use advertising cookies.

To turn analytics off in your browser, open superbrick.studio/?notrack. It stays off until you clear your browser’s data for the site. You can also block cookies in your browser’s settings; the site still works without them.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

Enquiries and emails are kept as long as we need them to reply, run a project and keep proper business records. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, using the link in any newsletter or by emailing us. Analytics data is kept for the retention period of our PostHog account.

We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold: the site only runs over HTTPS, its forms only accept submissions from this site, and access to our accounts is limited to the people who need it.

Access, corrections and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where we don’t need to keep it. Email and we’ll reply within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll work to put it right. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (opens in a new tab).

Changes to this policy

When how we handle information changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
